In the tradition of Jodo Shinshu, we hold memorial services on the memorial day of our departed loved ones. This service is a really important opportunity for us to listen to the Nembutsu teaching while remembering and appreciating our departed loved ones. Through the memorial service, we renew our understanding and appreciation of our own lives, and the Amida Buddha's great compassion.
You may schedule this memorial service on the memorial day or either before or after the day whichever is most convenient for your family members and friends.
